Lift sling rigging company produce 60 Tonne Round Sling,WLL 60T 60000kg Polyester Round Slings, Heavy Duty Round Lifting Sling.
60 Tonne Round Sling
ఎ 60 tonne round sling is a soft lifting sling rated at 60,000 kg in the vertical arrangement: a continuous core of high-tenacity polyester inside a woven sleeve, closed into an endless loop with no join, no stitching and no metal anywhere on the sling. Because 60 t falls between the standard 50 t and 100 t steps, it is a built-to-order capacity — the sleeve, the core count and the length are set by the lift, not by the nearest stocked size. For the category as a whole see our round sling పరిధి; for the closed-loop form see endless round sling.
- 60,000 కిలో vertical working load limit, 48 t choked, 120 t in a basket at 0–7°
- 420 t minimum breaking load at the 7:1 factor used in EN 1492-2
- No metal, no join — nothing to bruise a machined face, and the loop can be rotated to spread wear
- Soft, conforming bearing on pipe, coil, castings and painted plant, at a fraction of the weight of chain
Why 60 t Is a Built-to-Order Capacity
The usual ladder runs 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 8, 10, 12, 15, 20, 25, 30, 40, 50 మరియు 100 t. ఎ 60 t sling is an intermediate step, built from the same sleeve and the same parallel core as the sizes either side of it — there is simply more of both. Two practical consequences follow. The price is set by the build rather than by a catalogue number, and the length can be specified to the lift instead of being rounded to the nearest stocked size. If your lift sits closer to a ladder size, compare the 50 tonne round sling and the 80 tonne round sling before ordering — a 50 t sling in a basket often covers a 60 t vertical duty.
Construction: a Core That Carries, a Sleeve That Protects
The core is a hank of continuous parallel polyester yarn running the full circuit of the loop; it carries the entire load and it never appears on the outside of the sling. The sleeve is a woven tubular jacket over it, and its job is different: it takes the abrasion, the contact with the load and the marking that the person making the lift reads. At 60 t the sleeve is a heavy, densely woven tube, and on a long sling it is the bulk you notice before the weight. Two rules follow from that construction. A sleeve cut through so the core is visible retires the sling even if the core looks sound, and a sling dragged across a rough floor has spent its service life in the dragging rather than in the lifting.

Working Load Limit by Configuration
The figure on the sewn label is the vertical rating. Every other arrangement is derived from it by a mode factor, and the factor — not the tonnage printed on the sleeve — is what governs the lift.
| Configuration | Mode factor | Rated capacity of a 60 t sling |
|---|---|---|
| నిలువు | 1.0 | 60 t |
| Choked | 0.8 | 48 t |
| Basket, 0–7° | 2.0 | 120 t |
| Basket, 7–45° | 1.4 | 84 t |
| Basket, 45–60° | 1.0 | 60 t |
A double wrap is treated as two chokes, roughly 96 t. In a basket the sling body runs under the load, so the girth of the load and the angle of the legs both decide what can actually be picked up. Confirm the arrangement and the angle before the lift.
Core and Sleeve Options
| Option | What it changes | Choose it for |
|---|---|---|
| Polyester core (ప్రమాణం) | Low stretch, approximately 3% at working load | General lifting, machinery, steel and concrete |
| Aramid core | Heat resistance with a high strength-to-weight ratio | Hot loads, foundry and casting work |
| UHMWPE (Dyneema) core | Lowest weight for the capacity, high cut resistance | Weight-critical and abrasive lifts |
| Double-wall sleeve | An extra woven layer over the core | Rough, gritty or abrasive bearing points |
| Sliding protection sleeve | A replaceable sleeve positioned at the wear point | One known sharp or abrasive contact |
Where a 60 Tonne Round Sling Is Used
- Steel pipe, tube and bundle lifts in a basket hitch, where the loop wraps the curve instead of bearing on a line
- Coil, plate and heavy fabrication packs that need a soft, non-marking bearing surface
- Machined shafts, rolls, dies and castings where chain or wire rope would mark the finish
- Plant and machinery skids where the sling has to pass through a tight lifting eye
- Wet, marine and wash-down sites, where synthetic fibre is unaffected by water
- Multi-leg assemblies under a ట్రైనింగ్ పుంజం, where each leg must be a known capacity
Inspection Before Every Lift
- Sleeve first: cuts, abrasion, glazing, chemical staining, and any place where the core shows through. A sleeve cut through retires the sling even if the core looks sound.
- The whole loop: an endless sling has no termination to check, so the bearing points and the sections that sit in the hook are what you read.
- The label: WLL 60 t and the batch identification must still be legible. An unreadable label means the sling cannot be judged, and a sling that cannot be judged is not used.
- After a shock load, an overload or contact with a sharp edge, take it out of service pending inspection — internal damage is not always visible.
- Rotate the loop between lifts so that wear spreads instead of concentrating at one bearing point.
Proof Load Testing and Documentation
Every core is checked for filament count and lay before the sleeve is closed, and every finished sling is inspected for loop continuity, sleeve weave, length and marking before packing. On request we supply the fibre certificate, the batch test figures and a proof-load record, and a sample sling can be sent for handling and testing before volume production begins. Where your market requires a particular standard marking or a certificate with the consignment, tell us before the order so that it can be confirmed for the sleeve and length you need.

Custom Lengths, Marking and OEM Supply
- Capacity — 60 t as standard, with the 100 tonne round sling and the ladder sizes either side on the same line
- Length — circumference or working length to your measurement, within the minimum for the capacity
- Fibre and sleeve — polyester, aramid or UHMWPE core; single or double wall; standard colour or your own
- Marking and packing — your label layout and language, coiled in a poly bag or carry bag, labelled carton or export packing

తరచుగా అడిగే ప్రశ్నలు
What is the working load limit of a 60 tonne round sling?
60,000 kg in the vertical arrangement. The same sling is rated 48 t choked, 120 t in a basket at 0–7°, 84 t at 7–45° and 60 t at 45–60°. The figure on the sewn label is always the vertical rating, and every other arrangement is derived from it.
Is 60 tonne a standard round sling size?
Not on the usual ladder, which runs 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 8, 10, 12, 15, 20, 25, 30, 40, 50 మరియు 100 t. ఎ 60 t sling is an intermediate capacity built to order from the same sleeve and core, which is why its length and sleeve can be specified to the lift rather than to a stocked size.
How do I specify the length?
An endless round sling is ordered by circumference, because it has no ends to measure between. Once the loop hangs doubled, the usable working length is roughly half the circumference — so tell us the height you need between the hook and the load and we will size the circumference. ఎ 60 t sleeve is bulky, so very short working lengths have a practical minimum: send the capacity and the length together.
Can it be supplied with eyes instead of an endless loop?
అవును. The same build is available as an eye and eye round sling, which gives a defined length and two defined pick-up points at the same capacity. What changes is where the load transfers, and therefore which part you inspect first.
What safety factor and documentation come with it?
7:1 to EN 1492-2, which gives a minimum breaking load of 420 t at a 60 t working load limit. Batch test figures, fibre certificates and proof-load records are available on request, and other safety factors or national standards can be produced where your market requires them.
