80 Tonne Round Sling
Një 80 tonne round sling is a heavy-duty polyester sling rated 80 t (80,000 kg) in a vertical lift, with a 560 t minimum breaking load on a 7:1 faktor sigurie. 80 Tonne Round Sling Rating and Configuration
The label gives the vertikale rating. Every other arrangement is that figure multiplied by a mode factor — and at 80 t the difference between a vertical lift and a choked one is 16 t.

What Changes at 80 ton
At 80 t the sleeve is a genuinely heavy tube — around 115 mm across in double-wall construction — and the sling runs at roughly 10.4 kg per metre, so a 6 m eye-to-eye sling is about 62 kg. That is beyond a comfortable one-person carry: plan two people or a lifting aid, and keep it off the ground rather than dragging it.
The bulk sets two limits. A sleeve this size cannot be gathered into a short eye-to-eye distance, so the minimum length is longer than on a 50 t sling and rises with capacity. And the termination has to be matched: a 120 t-rated shackle or a hook with a bowl wide enough for the sleeve, otherwise the eye is point-loaded and the fitting becomes the weak link in a 560 t hobe.

An endless sling is ordered by circumference and the loop is doubled when it hangs, so usable height is roughly half of it — a 30 m circumference gives about 15 m of working length.
Two-, Three- and Four-Leg Assemblies

Step up a class when the arrangement, not the load, is the limit: dy 50 t legs at 45–60° give 100 t, while two 80 t legs in the same geometry give 160 t. Confirm the assembly rather than the tonnage on the sleeve.
Endless or Eye-and-Eye
Both are built on the same 80 t core and the same sleeve; the difference is the termination. An endless loop rigs vertically, choked, in a basket or double-wrapped, and the whole loop can be rotated so wear moves away from the bearing point. An eye-and-eye sling has a defined length and two defined pick-up points, which suits repeat lifts and makes hooking and shackling quicker.
